Log Manager

Using Log Manager

The Log Manager module lets you control how events are handled in the system. You can define whether an event appears as an Event, an Alarm, or is hidden entirely. This helps customize how events are displayed in Event Manager and Alarm Manager.

Accessing Log Manager

You can open Log Manager in two ways:

  • From Configuration System Settings Tools Log Manager

  • From Event Manager, click Commands Log Manager

Filtering and Updating Events

  1. In Log Manager, type a keyword to search for related events.

  2. For each event, select a Log Type from the following options:

    • Do Not Log – The event is ignored (not shown or stored).

    • Log as Event (Hide) – Stored in the database but not displayed in Event Manager.

    • Log as Event (Show) – Displayed in Event Manager and stored in the database.

    • Log as Alarm and Event – Displayed in both Event Manager and Alarm Manager, based on the event’s alarm priority.

Additional Options

  • You can configure events to trigger an email notification to either the Controller Group Admin or the System Admin.

Saving Changes

After updating log types, click Save to apply your changes.
