This article will guide you through adding an Armatura Omni AC30 in the security software

Omni AC30 readers are facial recognition readers that are from ZKTeco. The Security Management Software communicates to the ZKBioSecurity software, which then communicates to the readers. The following steps are how to add the readers.

  1. Install the ZKBioSecurity software.
  2. Log into the ZKBioSecurity software and ensure that API access is available. This is under Authority Management -> API Authorization -> Browse the API.
  3. If API access code is not available, please contact support for further assistance.
  4. Create a new Client id and secret.
  5. save the values to a notepad as this will be needed when adding to Security Management Software.
  6. In Security Management Software, go to Configuration → Hardware Manager → Add Driver. Select the Armatura Driver
  7. Add an Armatura controller.
  8. Click on the Armatura controller. Fill in the fields. The Password is the client secret value from step 4.
  9. Start the Driver.

To connect AC30s to the ZKBioSecurity Software:

  1. log into the device. See AC30 documentation for default user/pass.
  2. Click on COMM  → Cloud Server Settings.
  3. Set the IP Address to point to the IP Address of the ZKBioSecurity software.
  4. The default port is 8088 for the lock to communicate to the ZKBioSecurity software.

After configuring the AC30, you should see the device populate in the ZKBioSecurity software under “Door Icon” → Device → Device
