Create Access Levels by Adding ACRGs

Access Levels determine users' access to doors and readers based on a defined time schedule. An Access Level specifies the days and hours (Time Schedule) during which users can access particular doors or readers. You can create Access Levels in two ways:

  1. By adding individual readers.
  2. By adding Access Control Reader Groups (ACRGs).

Follow the steps below to create an Access Level using ACRGs:

  1. Access the Access Levels Module

    • From the main menu, click Access Control, then select Access Levels.
    • Note: Ensure you are working within the correct Controller Group.
  2. Select an Access Level

    • Use the dropdown menu to select the Access Level you wish to create or edit.
  3. Rename the Access Level (Optional)

    • Click the Command button and select Rename Access Level.
    • Enter a new description for the Access Level and click the Save button to apply the changes.
  4. Add ACRGs or Readers

    • Under the Command button, click + Add Readers to add ACRGs or individual readers to the Access Level.
  5. Configure the Access Level

    • In the Add Reader window, select a Time Schedule for the Access Level.
    • Click the Access Control Reader Group field to select ACRGs. You can add multiple readers or ACRGs one at a time using the same process.
  6. Finalize the Access Level

    • Click the Add Selected Reader(s) button to save your changes and complete the creation of the Access Level.
