Airport Doors

Below are trigger and macro settings for airport doors when using Mercury hardware and UnityIS.


Drive Gate Settings:

  • Input Supervision for input 1: 0 normally closed 
  • Input Supervision for input 2: 1 normally open 
  • Note: If input 1 and/or input 2 are red, in the hardware properties, then check wiring 
  • Default reader mode: Card Only (for both readers) 
  • Door Held Time, Door Contact Input 2: 50 seconds 
  • Output 1 Pulse Time: 35 seconds 
  • Reader 1, Reader settings: 001-Paired (Master) 
  • Reader 2, Reader settings: 002-Paired (Slave)


Door Definitions:

  • Door Strike: 0: door has no impact on strike control 
  • For Reader 1, select Paired (Slave) Reader: the second reader 
  • For Reader 2, select Paired (Master) Reader: the first reader 
  • Door Contact Address: Input 2 
  • REX1 Address: Input 3 
  • REX2 Address: None


Crash Bar Door Type:

  • Door Strike Pulse Time = 5 seconds 
  • Door Held Open Time = 16 seconds 
  • Input #2 is a Monitor Point, no REX configuration


Baggage 30 Door Type:

  • Door Strike Pulse Time = 10 seconds 
  • Door Held Open Time = 1800 seconds (30 minutes) 
  • Door Strike Mode = No Impact Only cards with Trigger Code 1 will work


Baggage 60 Door Type:

  • Door Strike Pulse Time = 10 seconds 
  • Door Held Open Time = 3600 seconds (60 minutes) 
  • Door Strike Mode = No Impact Only cards with Trigger Code 1 will work 
  • Drive Gate Door Type: Door Strike Pulse Time = 45 seconds 
  • Door Held Open Time = 60 seconds 
  • Door Strike Mode = No Impact Only cards with Trigger Code 1 will work 
  • Input #2 is a Monitor Point, no REX configuration


Jetway Door Type:

  • Door Strike Pulse Time = 5 seconds 
  • Output #2 Pulse Time = 5 seconds 
  • Door Held Open Time = 1800 seconds (30 minutes) 
  • Door Strike Mode = No Impact Only cards with Trigger Code 1 will work 
  • Input #2 is a Monitor Point, no REX configuration
