Loading Firmware

Loading Firmware to Mercury Controllers

Before you Begin:

Please make sure that the CRC firmware file is placed in the Data folder of the server and that the name of the file correlates to the model type of the controller. All firmware files are specifically compiled from Mercury for their respective controller model types and the file extension must be CRC. (filename examples: LP1501.crc, LP1502.crc, etc...)

Steps to Load Firmware:

  • Navigate to the Hardware Manager module.
  • Select the Mercury controller from the tree and then select the Commands button.
  • Click on the Load Firmware button, which will load the crc file that has been associated to the Model type of the controller. Typically firmware loads take about 10 to 15 minutes and will perform a reset and download of all configuration data once completed. During this time, the controller will be inoperable.
