Azure IC2 Product Licenses needed after IC2 Factory Defaulted

This article provides step by step process to upload the product license back to an IC2 controller that was accidentally Factory reset

Follow the Steps below to upload the product license back into an IC2 that was previously Factory Defaulted

  1. Contact IMRON Support (support@imron.com) and obtain the IC2 product licenses and firmware files by providing the MAC address of the IC2.
  2. Using a web browser, login to the IC2
  3. Go to Maintenance page
  4. In the "Upload Firmware" section, click on Choose file and select the Azure 'update_1.16.16.4.img' file
  5. After the file as been uploaded, click on the Update button
  6. Go to the Maintenance
  7. In the "Upload Firmware" section, click on Choose file and select the Azure 'apacs-embeded....2.3.10...app' file
  8. After the file as been uploaded, click on the Update button
  9. After the update, ignore the message box "Can't connect to the board after update"
  10. In your browser address bar, log back into the IC2 by its IP address
  11. You should now see a different webpage with 'Apollo'
  12. Login using the default username 'admin' and password 'pass'
  13. After login, click on the 'X' when the network window pops up. We can ignore this for now.
  14. At the main page, go to Menu>About
  15. Click on the Upload License button
  16. Select the file called 'product.license'
  17. Log back into the IC2 web page
  18. After login, click on the 'X' when the network window pops up. We can ignore this for now.
  19. At the main page, go to Menu>About
  20. Click on the Upload License button
  21. Select the file called 'AzureAccess_via_SDK_xxxxxx.license' (where 'xxxxx' represents the MAC address of the IC2)
  22. Log back into the IC2 web page
  23. After login, click on the 'X' when the network window pops up. We can ignore this for now.
  24. At the main page, go to Menu>About
  25. Click on the Upload License button
  26. Select the file called 'AzureRebrandingSecondaryController_xxxxx.license' (where 'xxxxx' represents the MAC address of the IC2)
  27. Complete
  28. Should show the following 'Features' in Menu>About
